Thank's Stelyn, another shot from the rear.
Apparently Aprilia produced the Futura to complete with the Honda VFR in the Sport Touring catagory. The motorcycle press couldn't get past the rather angular looks of the fairing and didn't give it a fair time. I'm not exactly sure but I believe production only ran for three years. The last batch imported into the UK where snapped up by "On Yer Bike" in Westcott Bucks. I remember hiring a van and driving down to pick mine up at a bargain price which was something like a couple of grand under "list". One of the bikes which is on my "I wish I still had List".
