Not true.  Nearly everything above the engine is adapted from the K1600.

Not true. Engine from the GS, frame adapted from the GS. Fairing adapted from the ugly tree.
Maybe it will get the ABS pro from the GS next year

No the thread is about  keyless and  as I pointed out that came from the 1600 as did the dash, the engine modes, the pannier, the audio .  But who cares where it came from. 

I though the keyless came frm God

Unusual wrote: After 20 months of working properly, the keyless gas cap on my 2015 RT doesn't always open and/or close.  It takes several attempts.  The local BMW dealer insists I don't know how to operate it properly.  Yah, right.  If you've had this issue, what fixed it?  Thanks.

The keyless fuel cap on my 2016 GSA packed up while I was at the IOM TT this year and was replaced on warrantee. In the UK the cap alone without fitting was £280. Must say though, I do like keyless ignition. I also could see the point but once you try it for a while it's a nice to have option

A little squirt of Lube  fixed mine.
