Casabar, I heard yesterday that our new bikes will be FJRs. I'm an RT fan but the new water-cooled RT-Ps (we've got 5 plus 3 air/oil cooled) have been really unreliable. Major electrical problems with the emergency equipment with most bikes off the road for 4 weeks at a time with BMW trying to resolve. Shame, we'll be saying good bye to these over the next two years. Shame BMW have been slow to sort major electrical problems and develop a Home Office type approved RT blood bike

Well we will see how the FJR perform, first impression is, its a nice ride. But I still prefer my own RT, so can't see me swapping my own bike yet. We just had a quote for new pads and discs on one of our air cooled RT, £660 with our discount, wow, that is a lot of dosh 8)
