The thought behind suggesting heading to AJ's was, if folks fancy it, to have a little ride out from York & make use of their hospitality.

If we do end up at AJ's later in the day, it may encourage more Red Rose Riders.

Home to York, to Shipley & back home would be around 150 miles for me.

After meeting up at York, any other suggestions would be more than welcome.

Following on from the Southern meet up thread, is it time to start a list of (weather permitting) attendees.

In true "Cilla Black" style, what's your name & where do you come from?

DaygloDavid aka David from Ingleby Barwick.

Well that's my plan to head back that way to AJ's, as going further east is just making it a longer ride, it will be a similar distance to yours about 160m

Looks like AJ's could be a good choice, thought it would work for those of us travelling from the North or Southeast of York,
heading West would keep the distance home about the same for those folks.

Not heading further away from home is understandable, AJ's (via Wetherby) is just a suggestion, any other ideas are welcome.

Whatever you do, it sounds like you won't be on your own.

Perhaps folks could post a "live" weather watch from their local on Saturday morning.

The forecast for tomorrow (Saturday) here at IB is light cloud & a max. of 14 degC.

York & Shipley look dry, but perhaps thick cloud, with a similar temperature.

What's the feeling for meeting up at York for 11:00.

Providing it's dry, I'm keen to go, will post an update in the morning.
