Their forthcoming Thanksgiving with mandatory Turkey (followed by quirky pumpkin pie!?!) is celebrated in a big way, bigger than Christmas in many states......or it was when I leaved over there in the 80s!RTman10 wrote: It would seem from all the responses they don't do this over the pond.

Haven't had turkey in over 30 years and I have never eaten pumpkin pie.
I believe this year will be tacos.

So, what did you end up with.

Plan for breakfast was a full English. Changed to a boiled egg. Full roast beef dinner next (possibly)

From my usual supplier (Lidl) we are having a Turkey crown and a goose crown, roast today and cold with chips on Boxing day, the temperature is in well into double figures so could even go out on the RT, that's if I wasn't going down the pub for some Abbot reserve! Happy Christmas all.

Walked the dog, had a bottle of Champagne half way around. Beef Wellington this afternoon, plus a few wets 8)
