Was at my dealers this morning and they had a new sold 1600GT Sport in the showroom in blue with go faster stripes. Obviously not yours looking at your location. I was informed that for 2017 the transmission is all new. So maybe my earlier comments are not valid. You might be right about the fuelling as well. Both of mine were more easily stalled than my LC.

Lots of improvements, I'm not tempted back though.

Saw a blue one in CW motorcycles Dorchester. That colour scheme is very nice

But, BMW, why-oh-why-oh-why-oh-why did you ever drop the K1300GT? Fantastic bike. A bit lighter and narrower than the 1600, and a bit cheaper to run, and went like the proverbial off a shovel. (Right that's lit the touchpaper, now RUN!!!
)

I think for them it would have been like continuing to sell the 1150RT when the 1200 came along.

EE ha gum, happy days.Remember my 1150 with both fondness and dread. Fondness in so much as nothing went wrong or failed. (unlike both our 1200,s) Dread in so much as awful servo brakes.

My last one, with those brakes sat in the showroom for about 4 weeks. Then suddenly, all by itself it empties the contents of the rear drive onto the nice polished floor. I was blamed of course.

I had the new K1600GT Sport for a couple of days while my RT was being serviced under warranty. After returning it I said to the dealer, that it's a very fast hoover. It really sounded like on, however at high speeds was quieter than RT. It had 1300 miles on the clock, and the windshield got stuck in one position after a day of riding!
