Saturday (hopefully) will be fine for me as well. Unfortunately though I'm going to have to downgrade to a 'possibly' for this meet?, My partner (Jo) is currently in hospital with a broken back and the future is a little hazy at the moment.

Hell Sim ... sorry to here that, hope all improves very soon !

The BBC 10 day weather forecast suggests it could be dry on Saturday 13th May, https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2634910

Mike & I have come up with meeting at the NCMM (Wakefield) for 10:30.

Fair enough. How long is the run including tea stops?

Garmin BaseCamp says that both the NCMM to Castleton (outward) & Castleton to NCMM (return) are 1hr 15min each x 2 + lunch at Castleton, I'd estimate a total of 3hr 30min.

Home to NCMM for me is 1hr 22min + P&T, say 2hr each way, a total of 7hr 30min.

Some riders may need less or more time to get to the NCMM, for the start of the Peak District circular route.

We'll be passing through Holmfirth on the outward route, could easily make a stop if anyone feels the urge.

Cool! Looks a good route  :)  Just as a heads up, there's a 'Horse Market' on Saturdays from 10:30 till 1pm ish in Holmfirth so it could be worth stopping elsewhere for a pit stop?

Thanks, that's another good reason for not stopping in Holmfirth.

If folks would like a stop between the NCMM & Castleton, how about The Fleece Inn in Holme.

Please remember, it's everyone's ride and all contributions are welcome.

If you would like a copy of the route, PM me an email address or we could have a go at transferring via sat. nav. memory cards on the day.
