Good idea but commitments on the 9th. Also have to spread the quota of Permits. Can't blow too many on one trip. Prefer (and only capable of) 'little and often'.

I feel the same, did it two up on a fjr, if I were to do it again (hardnott) it'd be on a much lighter bike
10 day forecast looking ok for Penrith just now. 8) How likely is it that it might change? ??? Should I still pack my 'waterproofs'? :-\

Waterproofs and thermals to cover all bases. I wanted to be a Meteorologist but ended up a Metallurgist, damned Careers Advisor could not spell. :))
