I'll be on the road for 8am as I'm calling to Alan Jefferies to collect my Nav 6 on the way to the departure lounge. (ETA 10am Morrisons) so will miss your weather forecast at 9am, but looking at the weather reports were all good to go

Anytime prior to departing at 10:30, some folks have been known to arrive earlier for a "Big Breakfast", usually around 10:00.DaveCly wrote:What time do you meet in Wetherby?

Good morning all, it's currently dark & dry here at IB, what's it like where you are.
Looking at the BBC Weather website, it's suggesting light rain/showers between 15:00 & 17:00 in Skipton.
It may make sense to reverse the route. Heading to Skipton via Fewston, Keighley, then back to Wetherby.
Will update again before 08:00, once it's daylight & more info. on the weather is available, standby.

It's now dry with light cloud here at IB, for that reason, "I'm in", see you at Morrisons Café, Wetherby for a 10:30 departure, earlier if you are having breakfast before setting off.
Will probably stick with plan A, "plan the ride, ride the plan".

Great pics, looks like you had a good ride. When the RAC guy turned up my bike fired up ok and has been ok since!! On the ride over to Wetherby I noticed that the rear heated seat was switched on. I switched it off, but this might have caused the drained battery.
I'll catch up with you next time out.
