Hey Casbar glad to hear you are OK. What model of air vest do you have? the TT (turtle) version or the Standard version. There is €100 difference between both.
Turtle, with the back protector

Helite makes a couple of jackets one for adventure riders is on hot side, their summer jacket allows more air movement, i’am about to pull the trigger on this one as most of my riding is in warmer weather

The bike is fine, I was on a FJR, it had the bungs fitted. Did make me think that maybe crash bars on my RT maybe not a bad idea

Yep, not a mark, on the bike, I was stationary, just ended up sitting on the tarmac with my air vest inflated, not a mark on me either, going to do the lottery this week

How does one get knocked off, whilst being stationary on a liveried bike & wearing hi vis.
The local blood bike group also require a white helmet to be worn.

Not going to get into a discussion on an open forum, but needless to say, if someone backs into your front wheel, you will go down

Believe it or not, being on a marked bike doesn't mean people see you, or check their mirrors, I have had a few instances when people have still pulled out in front of
me. Hazards of motorcycling
