Don't let a very small minority spoil it for the majority.

I have read a lot of your posts on the Luxury Touring Forum, you have a lot to offer :)

I'm still scratching my head as to what has been spoilt?

I am not really sure why people don't post much on here, I think it might due to a number of reasons

1) RTs are not that popular compared to GSs, far less of them around

2) a lot of RT owners do not do their own maintenance, the limit of most peoples "customising" is a bigger screen or different seat, hence there's not many discussions about maintenance

3) RTs generally are owned by older riders who aren't as "internet forum savvy"

The UKGSer forum is very busy, but the RT section on there is pretty dead

I try to post on here when I see items of interest on ebay, or I have some advice for anyone

Facebook is slowly killing forums off. Use them or lose them.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

I would tend to agree with your reasoning.

I do find this forum fascinating and has a lot of good information.

I am not sure on the RT versus GS but it could be true.  I owned a 15 RT and now a 17.5 GS.  Majority of the work is the same.

I work on any bike I own and at 61 that will never change unless I give up riding.

Nothing is wrong with this Forum and at times all of our skin get thin and we react when maybe we should not.

I say carry on and no worries.
