Yes that is a stand alone option I think but if you want central lock think you need keyless etc etc.

The Configurator isn't that user friendly but it looks like, central locking, keyless ride and anti-theft alarm all come together as one option.

Central locking is another thing I'm not too fussed about.

In standard trim, the LE is 3,285 more than the Base model, once you've had all the toys, have BMW got you hooked.

I bought my shifthead SE last summer, second hand with 1k miles, original owner speced loads... I think its  as a LE except, central locking, quick shift & audio...... and chrome exhaust. Extras I would have picked myself are the ABS pro, electronic suspension and the keyless start..

For audio I use the Nav VI and my scala.

May not be uk based  which would distort poll as diffrent specs worldwide. If Iwas going to buy new model i would go for base myself unless offered huge discount.

How does a 2017 Wethead 1200 - LE compare with a 2021 Shifthead 1250 - Base model for specifications.

Think about it. You might get a good deal at a quarter-end when sales managers are trying to hit their sales targets. They will offer you a fantastic deal on whatever is in stock at the BMW warehouse.
What is kept in stock at the warehouse? Yes...... the top-of-the-range models that everyone wants to buy on 3-year PCP plans.
I was offered a huge discount by Wollaston, which I would not have got on a factory-order-only base model.
