It was actually a bloke Steve… I have often wondered that

1987? In the days before we were issued leathers. It’s horrifying to consider we were wearing jodphurs, like something off Morcombe and Wise. The K100 was a lot quicker than the R80RT it replaced, but tended to weave at top end of 134mph.

2012? As you may have guessed, my wife.. temps in the early 40’s in Italy, and she’s just about to empty the water bottle over her head. The Pan was a great bike but too heavy.

2023. After 4 days and about 1100 miles of constant rain the bike needed a wash, location in Greece.

2008. In this one I’m moving home from the UK to France, what you see is all that came with me. Incredible bike if it fitted you…

2005? Bandit 1200S at Eurotunnel, Folkestone, off for a short jolly with a mate, it had rained all the way down from Lincolnshire but the sun shone for us in Kent. Nice cheap bike, but poor quality fasteners that corroded despite my best efforts, and eventually 3rd gear gave up.

Some great photos which brought back memories of all the bikes i've owned starting with a Suzuki T500 Twin 2 Stroke back in 1979, little did I know what I was getting in to some 45 years later and too many bikes to admit to owning. How much fun have we all had over the years before discovering the comfortable yet very flickable 1200/1250 RT....the joys of boys (and girls) and their toys

A few I built/ modified over the years,
GPZ1100, ZX10, Bandit12.
In 84/85 I had a GPZ 750 turbo then a 900 then back to the 750. You build makes the bike look better without the fairing.

This was taken about 16 years ago. My first Hayabusa which I had RedBull decals made for it as the bike was blue/silver and i just painted the wheels red.
