I had an offer for the bike which I rejected £10200 for a 18 plate with 11900 miles, still with 7 months extended warranty. Yesterday I got another cheque from the 3rd party insurance popped through the letterbox, no letter explaining what is was for. It brings the value to a little more than the replacement bike.

The 3rd party driver has completed his 'retraining course' and the police have closed the case.

What about you Glenn, You have to stop hitting cars that get in your way.

I'm happy its all sorted and your no worst off money wise for the replacment.

I'm still waiting to the 3rd party insurance to admit liability, I have sent the letter I received from the police to the claims handler's and solicitors
