But now of course we are told they drastically reduce accidents.  Pretty obvious when nobody bothers going there any more.

I've just done a quick search of hotels in Tewksbury for 8th & 15th July and most are fully booked including the Premier Inn, it could be something to do with an international medieval festival that is held on one of the weekends in early July but hasn't had the date set yet so rooms could become available.
