I wasn't totally happy with the downpipes, so following a tip on here, I purchased some of this:
It's grittier than Autosol, but does seem to produce a better finish. It's £12 a pot, but you don't need lots.
I shall try again when I have more time, but after 10 minutes, I could already see an improvement.

OMG if I'm not mistaken I can see some tarnish or dare I say rust on a cylinder head bolt

Wow. What a great cleaning job. I try to keep my bikes clean but....well, now a bit of shame may set in. I'm heading out to the barn now.
