Bit like me who spent hell of a lot on a CVO Road King, didn't regret it one bit, well until I sold it, it cost me 8k over 2 years, and as a niche bike, not a huge market. But hey ho, still a great bike.

I love the black but riding that on the M62 over Saddleworth Moor in the dark and weather in the middle winter is a recipe for disaster. So the white it had to be.

Already own a white helmet and will be switching to a full hi-viz jacket (although not with any writing on the back). I use my bike for commuting so anything that encourages people to politely move out of my way is more than welcome. I don't care what they think once I am past.

;)

Is that the black that's really brown, or the other black that's really blue?

Interestingly white is not the best colour for being seen, that honour goes to Pink. Anyone for a pink bike and helmet then. Police using white helmets was about distinguishing them rather than being visible.

Bought an Ebony last year. Something different from the very ordinary blues and greys. Depending on the light Ebony shades from pure black to an attractive plum colour. I never tire looking at it.

Red has always been my favourite colour - and the Icon seriously tempted me. But in the end I just couldn't justify the additional cost over a similar spec LE.

Lovely looking bike.

Lovely looking bike.

BMW Oxford are selling an Iconic for just shy of 18k, this is because they can't sell it new after the end of the year, due to Euro 4. That is a good price.
