Your mileage to the hotel from Calais is approx 420. If you stay in The Reims area going that's about 120 from Calais plus your mileage this side.
When we get there what you do is up to you. A trip down the B500 and back is something like 150 miles. A visit to Lake Constance is more like 300.
The return trip is a straight 417 hotel to Calais. Done it more than once , easy through Germany , Belgium and a bit of France. We supply you with a list of places to visit and you will find that people decide where to go at the bar the evening before. System works very well.

You will find most go off in small groups each day. We help this process by putting people in a group,of about 4 to 6 bikes but there is no compulsion to anything we do. Trying to do guided tours with up to 30 bikes is a no no. In all the years we have done them we have never done the guided thing.

You could always go to Fort William with us in August as a consolation prize . Got two rooms left.

Unfortunately my wife works in education and the only way she can get any time off during terms is either to get pregnant (virtually impossible at our age) or for me to die (which kind of defeats the object anyway).

It is the Bank Holidsy weekend, don't know if that makes any difference. One of our groups pillion is a teacher.
