I was wondering whether folks thought it would be appropriate for me to ask a guy with a 3 wheeled car to join us on a ride out.

Any thoughts?

For my 2p: the purpose of getting together is to have fun, meet people, and experience new stuff. I personally wouldn't have a problem with someone turning up on (should that be 'in') something else. And if someone were to be brave enough to turn up in a 'three-wheeled car' then it's always good to have someone to make fun of in a good-natured way.
:be happy:

This isn't UKGS - I think we can afford to be a bit more inclusive 8)

Personally I think it's a shame he will not be able to join us.

Thanks for your positive responses.

I've had a good chat with "Del Boy" this morning & he would love to join us on a ride out in the future. He fully understands the situation and has "driven" out with many motorcycle tour groups including to Norway with us in 2015. Clearly marking junctions is not something he should be asked to do. When driving within the group, (between the leader & TEC),  he would be happy to be seen as "invisible" from that point of view.

I think this could work quite nicely, providing it's organised along the lines indicated by David in the post above. PP=PPP (or whatever). At the end of the day if we enjoy ourselves and our 3 wheeled buddy enjoys himself, what's not to like.

Don't forget, Del Boy on 3 wheels is powered by BMW, I'm sure we could all turn up with Chinese BMW stickers, to make him feel welcome.

Does his buggy have a top box? If so is it 'approved' and does it have the requisite wobble of the deluxe model?

Unfortunately, the BMW engine is water cooled & the radiator is leaking, now where have I heard of water leaks before.

See, that's the problem when you start to complicate things unnecessarily.
