I saw one on my way to Devon on Friday, it had a plough attached and was moonlighting in a field

I considered one of them but they only have 700cc engines and cost even more.

So here I am, touring Norway, left Bergen this morning heading towards Trolsteigen a few miles off a ferry when I see a sign saying yet another tunnel has works which means a delay... guess what I pull into the queue behind! A can am. As I've said before not my bag BUT as the wait extended to 15 minutes I did get a bit jealous of his parking brake!

Couldn't you have used your hill start assist, or was the engine off? If so why not just stick it in gear.

I wasn't sitting in this heat with the engine running, didn't occur to put it in gear (avoids embarrassment restarting!) still holding the brake on kept me awake!

Well the man on the Can Am had it made both ways. Engine off , brake stays on. Engine running , cooling fans reverse and blows the hot air forward.

Until we got out the other side, he followed the traffic on the narrow road, I went past

Was the road too narrow for him to pass the traffic.

How very dare you... German motor caravan doing 45 in an 80, 4 cars and a lorry stuck behind then the Can Am then me. I may have touched 90 briefly once but just went past one at a time when the way was clear. It was tight but couldn't have been THAT tight or my wife would have commented! Still reached today's destination now. Weather has so far been excellent and Norway encourages a cruising style to take in the scenery. I've never seen the range display declare I have 370 miles left before (and that was 15 miles after filling!) 321 was previous max!

I was wondering were they all were. Now I know, Norway.
