Thankyou for your declaration above :thumb: One of my inspectors will be in touch in due course ;) You will be informed of an estimated total of un taxed earnings over the past 7 years for which tax revenue is due for you to prove otherwise

We may get a fairly warm weekend (around 10°C) and if the rest of the snow melts I will take the RT out.
Looks so promising that I even washed my Rukka suit and Harley jacket today .

Well, today I tried for the first time one of these AI writers or what ever they are called. What could go wrong, right?

So I typed in the classic question: "Why motorcycle is better than a woman."

This is the reply I got:

Subject: Get on a Motorcycle!

Hey!

Are you looking for an adrenaline rush? Why not get on a motorcycle and experience the thrill of the open road? Motorcycles are often considered more thrilling than women because they provide an escape from reality and can be ridden with more freedom. Riding a motorcycle can also help you feel connected to nature, as you get to enjoy the sights and smells of the outdoors.

Motorcycles are also much easier to maintain than women. With regular maintenance, your bike will always run smoothly and reliably. You don't have to worry about things like mood swings or emotional outbursts - just make sure your tires are properly inflated and that all your fluids are topped off!

So why not go for a ride? It's sure to be an exhilarating experience!

I think this was a very good reply.

Too bad I was dumb enough to show this to my GF of 30+ years. She did not take it very well.

Took off my crash bars and front engine cover again. Found i still had an oil leak. Found the leak coming from the O ring behind the small square plastic plate that covers a large bearing. Luckily i have a box full of silicon O rings. Lesson learned. Do not clean off the area until the job is finished. So now it has a new crankshaft seal, belt, and this O-ring seal. Like the big fat oaf i am i snapped the plastic engine cover. So an S/H one has been ordered from Motoworks. Can't see myself being out over the Holiday to enjoy the sun. :stupid:

180 mile tour around/through the Shropshire hills planned for tomorrow with my cousin, he is running in a brand new Royal Enfield Continental GT, I wonder who will be more relaxed at the end of the day. 8-)

As am still waiting for some "E" clips to arrive i had a ride out on my mate's bike. I was nearly converted until we hit 60mph. Wind and rain were the problems. On my RT these are a thing of the past. Then there was the problem of tip-toeing. For such a tall bike it handled really well with 80/20 tyres fitted. once i got used to the shorter gearing it was fun but a pain shifting and shifting, where about on my RT i would be in 3rd gear all the time. Leg room was perfect even for my short legs plus it felt a lot lighter than my bike. If i was just doing short to medium runs but not over Europe like most do. After 150 mile of fast and back roads, my shoulders started to hurt due to the wind buffering. So no am sticking to my old girl.
Sorry forgot to say my mate's bike is an 09 R1200GS. He was riding his newish H/D adventure thing and i mean a thing, a bloody ugly thing.

Pan America? Try it some day. It is a big surprise to learn how well it rides. And no, I'm not joking.

Anyway, took the old bird out too yesterday. Progressive Suspension front and Öhlins shocks transformed the old soft suspension completely.

Well, it is true that it lacks a bit in the looks department but the 150 hp engine is great. Although Triumph Tiger 1200 triple was even better.

So many nice bikes out there on the market.

Pan America ugly? You're all blind.

It's the best looking adventure bike out there!
....admittedly it has taken five years for me to come to that conclusion since I first saw it but I find I never appreciate really good looking stuff immediately ;).
Now if they would just sort that TFT out and fit belt drive.....and mount the exhaust under the engine........and put a Buell badge on it....!
