Mine has done the same for the last 18 months even though it told me to put in a card, which I did, it's still only got music on it.

Connected my 660 to the PC today to transfer some routes for a ride out, Garmin Express has come up with a map update (Version 2017.10), will leave it until I get home later.

Hi David, I`ve put the 2017 map update on my Nav 5 and 660 yesterday , it took less than 30 mins and is working fine. It must be a small update.

After a couple of failed attempts, update ongoing as I type, device & PC at the same time, had to reformat (clear) the memory card for the size of the file.
Will report back later, hopefully with positive news.

Did my Nav V this afternoon 1.5 hours, but did computer (mac) and device, no issues

It sounds like NTU is the latest version & are updated up to 4 times per year, whereas, NT are only updated twice per year.
My Garmin Zumo 660 was purchased in March 2011, this change may have taken place since 2010.

It seems to be true, in 2015 I had 3 updates, in 2016 there has only been 2.

After updating to 2017.20, used my Sat. Nav. yesterday, it works, happy days.
