Booked the Leicester South Premier Inn for the Friday so will be up for this.

I missed the last one.

Travelling up from midway down the M3 if anyone fancies some company on the ride up.

I think I've found the reason all the hotels are either fully booked or very expensive on the Saturday night .....


It's on the same weekend as the British grand prix at Silverstone!


Everywhere within 30 miles is gonna be busy, including the roads.

Silverstone is 50 miles from the PI at Oadby, the ride on Saturday 7th July is well away from the circuit.

Since booking the PI at Oadby for Friday 6th & Saturday 7th July 2018, both the Flex & Saver rates have come down.

For us, the trip will be weather permitting, therefore we've booked the Flex rate, with free cancellation up to 1pm on the Friday.

Nearer the time, if it's a goer & there is availability, will book the Saver rate & cancel the Flex rate booking.

Would you be so kind as to add us as confirmed booked for Friday and Saturday night. For those interested current price is £91:50 for two nights which is cheapest I have seen. Staying upright were traveling from Portsmouth but unsure on time yet may meet on route, will discuss closer to date.

Best send you a copy of the Garmin BaseCamp GPS route for the ride out on Saturday 7th July.

After our ride out last year, it was too painful to ride any of my bikes due to an ongoing problem with my hip.


A new titanium hip is being installed in Feb, so I should be pain free by July - can't wait.
