It's a bit weird that I've had 3 bikes in that garage for as long as I can remember, will only ever be 1 in there from now on

I counted the dead insects on the screen. Lost count after 160. 2 were on top of each other. The underneath one was still wiggling its legs. Thought sorry for it so squashed it.
I also checked the engine oil. Didn't use a drop. Not bad as i was traveling most of the time between 90/100mph
except for waiting at the Spanish/Gib border. 4.5 hours getting in and 2 hours getting out.

I had heard that the Border was getting worse, last time I crossed it was late April early may in 2006. The queue was nearly back to La Linea then but I just rode past the traffic, took about 20 mins in total. The Spanish were fine but the Gib plod were a bit keener.

British Gib border force Was the easy bit, it was the Spanish who wanted to look through everything. They didn't understand my Spangish. It was a bit like the old days when you had to show your papers at every border.

Funny world isn't it, when I was there in 2019 I filtered to the front and got waived through both ways, never showed me passport. The oddest thing was them pesky monkeys trying to jump on me and the VFR.
Where have I taken this photo
And English dressed coppers speaking Spanish

Let me know what you think of the risers, I'm thinking of buying a set
Currently £124.99 a pair on ebay & £200 for the tool, but get all bar £20 - 25 back as a hire charge when returned.

Sorry but it's been over a year since I've ridden the bike so I've forgotten what it was like pre bar risers.I think i bought them because they were going cheapish from another forum member, which has turned out to be a very astute move. The tool is £25 to rent from Sportstouring, comes with the tap to reem the thread of the loctite, not that I saw it till I was packing it away
Much easier than the Wunderlich hullabaloo
