Cracking day out, covering nearly 270 miles.
Using the trip recorder mileage of 268.6, returned 54.6 mpg (physical check, tank "full to full").
Using the sat. nav. mileage of 271.7, returned 55.2 mpg.
BC = 56.5 mpg.

Must have been all those motorway miles I did with the screen up which knackered my fuel consumption.k9doc wrote:190 miles for me at 59.73 mpg. Must have been slip streaming.

Re: Northern Monkeys May Meet Up
hi chaps just back in, i'll check my miles and consumption in the morning and report back, as rushed the LC into the garage quick shower and out to the theatre with the Mrs and nephew's.
Just wanted to say I couldn't have had a better day, company and great roads for my first ride out.
Still not hungry after that breakfast.....
Great pictures, look forward to the next one. Getting planning Dave and Chris :thumbs:

Using the sat. nav. "Trip Log", managed to come up with this route which Chris led us from Castleton to Grindleford Station.simbo wrote:Cracking day out visiting parts of the Peak District I've never seen before, thank you for guiding us Chris.
If Chris has got some more routes like this one above, IMO, it would certainly be worth another visit with an overnight stop at Matlock.

You can count on it with barely a 50 mph limit in sight. Can't say the same about the cow$h1t however.

Just been and filled up with fuel, in the interest of science an all that, '54.27 mpg actual'. BC= 56.5 I could have possibly got more if I'd removed the collection of out of date Tesco sandwiches from the top box?
