As the hotel is booked out on the Saturday night is there another preferred option?

Will email you a copy of the route.michaelc2710 wrote:Hi David, you better send myself and Lindsey the route, also add our names to the confirmed list please.
If you've got a Garmin Sat. Nav., we may be able exchange/share the route using the GPS devices & SD cards on the day.BoB21 wrote:Lol okay pop it in post but don't know what I'm to do with it as don't have computer.
PM me an email address & I'll send you the GPS route.stayingupright wrote: Also needed please.
You can't book the Saturday only online, this is what John did to book a single night, hope it works for you.stayingupright wrote:As the hotel is booked out on the Saturday night is there another preferred option?
Sullivj wrote:I was able to book 2 nights online. Remember that I only want one, but you can't book the Saturday only.
I then tried to cancel the second unwanted night online, as the reservations team advised me to do, but the system would not let me cancel it.
Instead, I phoned the hotel on 0333 321 1088, and they cancelled the second night for me.
So, Tim and I are booked and confirmed for Saturday night.

Your names have been added to the confirmed bookings list, which night(s) are you staying.
For anyone having problems with the Garmin BaseCamp GPS routes, either in .gdb or .gpx format, here are the postcodes & co-ordinates for the destinations.David. wrote:As plotted on BaseCamp, the day's ride would look something like this.
Oadby to Brampton Halt, 33 miles in 1 hour, stopping at https://www.thebramptonhalt.co.uk/
Brampton Halt to the OK Diner (just north of Stamford on the A1),62 miles in 1.5 hours, https://okdiners.com/tickencote/, with a break at Uppingham.
OK Diner to Oadby, 64 miles in 1 hour 40 miuntes, with a break at the A1 Stadium Diner, https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restauran ... gland.html, at Colsterworth on the A1 south of Grantham.
A total of 159 miles in 4 hours 10 minutes with 4 breaks, similar to what we did in Tewkesbury which filled the day.
Done, perhaps the fairly central, (although Southern) location, is attracting the "day trippers".speighty wrote:Add a +1 to local (ish) lad, will meet up at the start.
