Hi,

Are the tools that you bought compatible with 2018 BMW RT? I am very interested in buying them too, but before I place the order I want to ensure they are the right ones for my motorbike. It would be a costly mistake otherwise.

There is a difference between the 1200 and 1250 camshaft alignment jigs, also the collar that is used with the cam chain tensioner tool is a different length. Your friendly ( not necessarily local) bmw dealer should be able to sort this for you.

Just seen you can now buy part 83302327790 - alignment pin tool from Aliexpress for £25 inc shipping.
Trust me I am a retired Doctor and lecturer at Oxford University of Structural and Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

They aren't genuine parts but if they work they work!

You would need the cam chain tensioner too

I wouldnt exspect it to be OE part at that price but if it's true to image it looks well made

Thanks for the heads up, I got the alignment pin last year, also the cam alignment jigs arrived for the 1250 motor, the last bit of the jigsaw ( cam chain tensioner tool) is supposed to arrive this month !!.
