I've got one of these on the way. Apparently it should fit and if it doesn't go far enough down I'll put some sort of extension on.

If it doesn't fit then at least I have a starting point for a proper rear hugger

I tried something similar a few years ago but found the mounting bracket rubbed on the underside of the plastic ‘wheel arch’ when two up, so I sold it to a GS owner. Couldn’t remember how far down it reached in the area of the spring.
However, strangely, I’ve just bought another one from M&P to try again with some dremmel work

Mine has just turned up
Reckon I'll spray the arm black before fitting.
Will be a while till I get in the garage so I'll see how you get on.Was your bike previously set up for 2 up full luggage?

I’ll be interested to hear the result…

Is there no way just to fix an old fashion mud flat to cover the gap? I did this to my Himalayan as every ride out the shock would get covered in mud.
Thanks to Excellent for the pic's

Found this on Ali Express and wonder if this may fit. It states it for FOR BMW R1200R R1200RS LC R1250R R1250RS 2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021
Wunderlich copy again. £4285 with £5.38 postage.
With a bit of bending and cutting you can make anything fit. There may be a splash guard listed on Ali but haven't found it yet.

Just had a crawl through Aliexpress and found this for a GS. A good bit cheaper than Davids find and maybe worth playing with?

This is a centre stand protector sold by BMW for GSA @ £42, Ali Express version is just under £20. There are also versions from Wunderlich and other companies.
Irrespective of the manufacturer this would (I hope) prevent the damage we all suffer to the stand.
From OEM parts it would appear that the GS/RT stands share the same part number.
It also occurred to me that some sort of lip on it may possibly also prevent the under sump spray onto the rear shock mount?

I visited Bahnstormers the other day and tried the BMW GSA centre stand protector in an RT. Not an immediate fit but it may be possible to ‘make’ it fit somehow.
I may try a DIY effort with the conveyor belt material to see how that works instead.

Yes when I had a look last night - it'll need a bit of jiggling but it could be helpful.
