Went for a trundle around Wiltshire & North Hants. Clocked this:-

Packed the car for trip to see the wife's brother in La Roche as she missed his wedding. Removed the highway pegs from the engine bars as I don't use them much. Also tested out if I can turn my top box light(20 led strip) into a brake light as well as a running light. So far temporary wired them up the the bikes brake light without tripping the Cambus.
Just finished mowing the front and rear Garden. Now waiting for the roast dinner to finish. Yum, Yum

Unfortunately nothing exciting with the bike on this glorious day.

We dragged an ancient chest of drawers out onto the decking so that I can renovate it. Lots of sanding and then a couple of coats of Danish oil while the sun shines tomorrow (hopefully).

It also gives us a chance to clear out the crap that’s accumulated in the drawers over the years!

Get in there!

Took the bike to work today. Getting to learn the width, the further I went, the easier the gaps got.

Also never used a heated bike seat before. Definite winner. Grips and seat around half heading in to Mcr this morning made a pleasant ride. Need to work out why I’m gripping the bars differently, as got an aching/stiff wrist with a little numbness. Adjusting the grip to different fingers helped.

Nice drive over to Sutton in the sunshine to pick up an SX200 casing with the barrel, head n piston for me Lambretta.

This will give me a 250cc TS1,it will be rapid

Back from sunny France. Drove straight through the night from La Roche with only per and food stops. Got home and jumped into bed. Only have to find the smelly wheel of cheese now

Did one oil and filter changes then sat in my living room watching the rain. Happy days

Man flu. But I soldiered on like a brave young boy.

What I did a week ago on Friday 20th, 2 days in the hospital. Had the defibrillator pacemaker fitted, not a great experience for me. Had a few issues one being Atrial fibrillation during the op, ended up staying in an a 23hr drip to try and calm things down, hematoma on top.
A week later and a return checkup and slowly getting there but finding sleeping a real pain, every time I nod off I wake with a start like something is wrong or panic.

Was quite surprised of the extensive bruising having been told what to expect

Thanks , I posted a while ago somewhere at the bottom of the forum page but not much traffic there .
It’s a 1 month driving ban as standard I’m hoping it never has to work and shock me for obvious reasons but if it does it’s then a 6 month driving ban. I’m told a lot of people don’t bother and just take a chance with their condition .
I made sure the RT was all nicely tucked up with some decent fuel in it as it’s unlikely I’ll be using it again until spring

On the plus side I think winter has arrived so you won't miss out much on the good biking weather!

That is what i'm hoping not to have done. The meds ATM seem to be keeping my AFib under control 2 tablets every day, was 3 with the blood thinner tablets, but doc took me off of them.
Have you been on blood thinners, as they will make it 10 times worst for the bruising.
anyway wish you a full recovery and back to full health asap.
