Amazing just how much thatch it brings out, but I’ve got three patches to reseed in spring from it ripping the lawn up.

I used the machine and then went over it again with a rake, it was a good work out and I got another half-bin full. At the end of it all I was very pleased my lawn wasn’t that big!

A quick try out with the electric scarifier yesterday, a bit to damp but works easily,

Maybe some roundup 🤣. I might give it a light dressing in the spring maybe but I don’t want to be cutting it twice a week!. Some of my clients used to have “Green thumb” lawn care which was a nightmare , you could see them laughing as they drive away in the knowledge I’d be cutting it in a couple days 🤣.

Just getting over last night. 150 small bags of Haribo starmix given out. The last knock on the door was just before 9pm. Not even a packet left for me :(

Nope, borrowed my neighbours spiking ‘lawnmower’ type thing, it still raised a sweat though.

People forget it's still about. Sure I got my first hit from dirty Dick's(St Richards). Got it 4 more times after. Even though I had all the jabs. The last was the worst. For 2 days I thought it was the end.
Hope you get well soon Steve.
