Grip Puppies

Post by Pope »

Fitted some to my RTLC as i found the grips just a bit narrow for my XL hands.

Easy to fit and very comfortable, and they take the edge of the vibration at high speed.

Any detrimental effect with the heated grips or have you not tried them yet?

I've used these on my other bikes with heated grips.
The foam is only about 5mm thick so they do reduce the heat slightly,  but i find the max heat setting to be too hot for me anyway.

I would agree. I have had them for the last 5-6 years. Possibly the heat takes a fraction longer to get through but it does not cause any problems.

As a result of reading the above posts, I went ahead and fitted some to the RT  -  perfect, wish I'd done it earlier, £13.99 well spent (Ebay).    No more `tingly'  vibrations and now a firmer feel for the grips.    Just hope they last .... Recommended 8)

Fitted to previous bikes and just fitted to my LC. Best cheap mod ever in my opinion
