BULLRACK- Pannier and Top Case Wall Mounts-R1200RT and more

Post by Bullrack »

For your consideration:

I am a board member and fellow R1200RT and R1200S owner in Georgia, USA.
I came up with an idea because I was worried about my panniers getting damaged when off the bike:

www.bullrack.com

R1200RT(All Years) Top Case Wall Mount
R1200RT(05-13) Pannier Wall Mounts
R1200RTW pannier mounts coming soon.
Other BMW models plus Yamaha FJR1300. More coming soon.

How about some good constructive feedback please to help me make these better!

Cheers and Ride Safe.

Definitely a new idea for those of us that have learned how to remove them.  Cant quite see how the panniers attach but you might need two  designs to cater for the LC panniers.  (just noticed already in the planning stage)

Certainly an 'idea'

The only time mine come off my RT are for cleaning. To me the bike doesn't look right riding without them. Having said that they can be vulnerable when sat on the floor and you try squeezing past them moving about the shed.
Love my family almost as much as my 90th anniversary RT

I think it's a top idea and will definitely be in for a full set as soon as the LC ones are available - assuming Van will ship to the UK.

A great idea, it looks like the Pannier bracket replicates the two upper case holders on the side of the bike, below the carrier/grab rail.

When the case handle is pushed down, does it engage the latching mechanism behind the mount on the bracket, (above the Bull's head) for security of fixing.

Yes it does DayGloDavid. There is a welded on piece of angle that keeps the "plunger" mechanism in place and unable to pull out. The bag locks in place as it does on the bike.

Thanks for confirming that, a brilliant design, well done, hope you sell loads.

Fortunately, I have a pitched roof on my garage with storage space for the top case & side cases.

We now have pannier racks for the R1200RT LC (2014+).

Also, we hope to be able to name our UK distributor quite soon, standby.
