Pannier bags

I've been looking around for some liners for the panniers for the lc. I didn't really want to spend upwards of £100 even if you do get robust kit. I'll only be using them to transport stuff from house to bike to house/hotel so rugged cordura seems a bit like overkill.
These come from
www.made4bikers.com
Delivered in 5 days.
Total cost €81,50 which is less than £60.
Light but well made. Good fit.

I got the Wunderlich bags from Nippy Norman they do the job and that's about it. Oh used to carry them on plane Ryan Air never minded I had 2 x bags, robust enough, but still expensive for what they are. As soon as the name BMW enters, the price increases we all have to live wth that not

In Germany, there is a small company that is, in BMW rider circles widely known for their high quality bags. I had a set (originally bought for the f800gs, then used on the R1200GS) that i used for 4 years and rides in all over Europe, USA, Marokko. They were very well build, easy to carry, sturdy, useful.
So i went and bought the bag for the R1200RT LC from them as well. Have not used them much yet, but the quality seems to be in line with the other bags.
They don't have an english site, but ship world wide (kind of weird). Anyhow if you know german, or how to use Google Translate, here it is:

imo, well worth checking out. Pair of bags is 103 Euro.

I have the Kathy Bags and they are very well built and the small pouch in the bottom is handy and fills the indented space in the hard cases.

Got these at Amazon.com. Still waiting on the bike, but they seem to be well made, nicely lined and a lot cheaper than the BMW version. If you have a 2014-16 then the panniers and top box are the same as those fitted to the K1600's so don't let the description fool you.
Bestem (LGBM-K16-TPL) Black Top Box Liner for BMW K1600GT and Bestem (LGBM-K16-SDL) Black Saddlebag Liners for BMW K1600GT R1200RT 2014+.
I will update on fit as soon as the bike arrives within the next 3-4 weeks. 8)

If you've got the bike by now, how did the bags fit?

My brother got me a set of the Bestem bags for Christmas, and they seem fairly well made. the RKA top case liner has a better quality zipper, but I think they'll do fine.

Keep a check on ebay, - found a pair on there last year as new and unmarked. Seen a few on there since, as well as other RT bits.......

If you haven't already figured it out their 17 to 21 won't be a good fit for the LC. You would need their 1600GT/GTL ones.

Having got a Set of 3 BMW Inner Bags for a pre-LC RT, the Mane Event BMW 17-18-19 do look like good copies.

I have a set of the GS ones. The quality isn't bad, given that they're not too expensive. Nowhere near the quality of the OEM ones though...
