I do know that the stock Metzeler Z8 tire on my 2015 1200 rt is poop. At 10 k the front tire is shot and needs replacement. It is cupping and wearing bald.

Not sure you can complain if it did 10k!

After 10K I'm amazed it or any other make hasn't turned white. Hate to imagine what the back ones like

New tyre blurb always sounds so great doesn't it. However we will have to wait for a tyre test to see how it compares with the rest. Having said that its good to see Metzler updating their Z8s. The performance of touring tyres I think is amazing, they grip well and last too. I'm currently getting about 8K from a pair and I think thats bloody good. Wish I could get 10K ;D
