BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

My 2005 RT being British spec has miles speedo graduations and as it spends a good few months in France each year it would be good if I could fit a (switchable) Km converter.

I know that Km bikes imported into the UK can be fitted with such a converter but wondered if there is a miles to kilometres version.

Anyone throw any light?

Surely your clock shows both.  The Euro ones only show kms.  If you have a GPS fitted most of those will show your speed in kms.
