With all the junk I sometimes load on pillion seat, I end up standing on left peg, to get a leg over

I got a movie on facebook from one of the bike groups of a guy who claimed to be 5'5", his method of mounting a GS was to stand beside the bike in gear, engine running and to pull away and put his left foot on the peg then mount the bike in motion, he reversed the process on coming to a rest. There is a guy in South Korea who has a K16 with stabilisers which deploy below walking pace, that works well too.

Now I am confused.  what's the top box got to do with the seat height. Having said that.  bike on side stand. Stand beside the bike. Grab handlebars.  Left foot on foot peg. On you go.  You will clear the seat by a foot or two.  And no the stand will not buckle or snap.
