Hello, New to The forum AND to RTs. I am Italian but have been living in London for the last 16 years. 2 1150 gs in my past life, along a few other bikes. To keep the RT company I have a Burgman 650 Executive (sorry, but being Italian, the scooter is in my DNA). Have literally just collected my new RT 1200 LC. My only past touring bike was a Paneuropean and I loved it. Look forward to getting to know you all. Ciao! Massimo (Orso62).

Ciao e Benvenuto Massimo! Good choice of bikes on both counts - my wife rides a Burgman 650 Exec and I ride a LC RT! 
No need to apologise over the scooter - the 650 is more than capable a machine !

I did a tour to Portofino a few years back. Italian scooterists , they are ALL MAD. I felt mightily relieved to get out in one bit. Magic place though. Welcome to the forum.
