As far as I could tell, all they did to mine was reset the service indicator and give the bike a bloody good wash.

Worth every penny...

£180 would have to be a good wash?

You're under-valuing the resetting of the service interval indicator.

Of course, they may have done other stuff but nothing that made any noticeable difference - good or bad...

US $180-200
Oil and filter plus final drive, service reset and a check of all fluids, finally a check ofcomputer upgrades
Cost goes $$$ at the 12000 mile service
Since we have two bikes, and handy turning a wrench, I bought the GS911 tool and service DVD from Jim vanborden, oil changes are now $60, with a final drive change at each oil service
Takes longer to reinstall left bottom panel covering filter than to do the entire service

Service intervals are on a rolling Annual and/or every 6,000 miles basis, whichever comes first.

When was the Running-in Check (600 miles) completed & what mileage has the Bike now done.

I'm with T6Pilot do my own. The LC is probably the easiest bike I have ever serviced everything is easy to get to except the air filter. The air filter requires all the panels off to get to it, not hard just time consuming. BMW LC service schedule is the following:

Annually or 6000 miles engine oil and filter change, service reset, and general inspection. If its the first year then replace brake fluids otherwise this is on a 2 year cycle.

12000 miles engine oil and filter, final drive oil, spark plugs, air filter, valve check, service reset and general inspection.

Clutch fluid is mineral and is lifetime for bike. Throttle sync is done automatically by bike no service required.

6K service is very straight forward, 12K more involved.

How much of that was labour? Mines checked in for a 12K service on 11/5 but it's being charged as 'Labour free'.

Labour was £192 + the dreaded VAT
I'll probably do the servicing myself after this one.
The warranty ends in September.
Less than 2 services will pay for the bike lift which should make life ea
