If you don't have the factory fitted one, have you considered an alarmed disc lock. Abcus do a very good one

If your bike has central locking it may be that it's part of the comfort package which has the alarm also, have you looked for it, a long press on the lock button usually activates it.

If you have TPM you also have an alarm as it's the same unit.

Tyre Pressue Monitor.  Can't work out the spec on your bike.  You have the audio system but no central locking.

In that case you don't have an alarm.

I fitted a HAWK remote alarm a couple of years ago to my LT, the type that isn't defeated by shorting out an indicator, along with motion sensor.  I can't promise if it will match the cambus system of the RT but if it does, get one!!!
There must be one out there somewhere...

I would think that trying to install an aftermarket alarm into the Limbus system on an LC will be a very dodgy thing to do.  The factory fitted one is available for fitting by a dealer.

I know I don't have an alarm,I'm looking for info on adding one . not the one from bmw it's $289 plus $100-$150 to get installed and that's without a remote,it has to be installed by bmw .
