Front tire issue on 2016 R1200RT LC

With only 3500 miles on my new RT, the front Metzler tire is getting lumpy and scalloped. I run recommended 39 lbs tire pressure. Any suggestions?

Return it to dealer and anticipate a brand new tire replacement.

But don't tell him it's been overinflated.  Book says 2.5 , 36.5psi

My RT came with Metzler tires now at 4000 miles, changing to PR4's before 5000 miles
Never have liked them, no unusual wear patterns, just don't like them
My K1600 came with metzler's and started scalloping at the 3k point
Dumped them for Pr4's [emoji106][emoji106]

But if you put in 39 cold they would have been running at something like 42 or 43 warm,  That's 1600 pressure.

Sometimes you just get a dud tyre.  I've just had the same issue with a PR4GT after just 1,500 or so miles...

Never had it before with PR4s - reckon it was just a bad tyre...
