Seats

Post by Sleafordblade »

Have been and collected my bike today after having the seats reupholstered.
The quality of the work is amazing and the difference is incredible.
Gone is the thin, firm and slippy plank that pushed you into the tank.
Now it's a plush, level, higher and smarter seat with armchair like comfort.
The heated element still Works as before even with an added inch of height. I was also contemplating buying some bar backs but I don't think I am going to need them now as the whole seating position is now so much better. ImageImageImageImage
The irk was done by ed at core motorcycle seating near Lincoln.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have a 36" inside leg. It's now perfect for me and a lot More comfortable.

Yes, £250 is, as you say, superb value for what looks like a nicely upholstered seat. :)

Sleafordblade,

Glad you found time to get the work done and that the recommendation from the other forum was useful. Done alot of miles now and seat is still an improvement.

Thanks for the headsup Steve, great to get the job done as it has made a great difference to both the comfort on the backside and the general riding position.
Also great to support local startup businesses.
