Question for RTman please.

Post by k9doc »

Looks like I'm the latest victim of RH switch cluster failure. Bike is on it's way to Long Eaton in the morning.
Could you enlighten me as to the current situation re replacement of both clusters, if one fails and will replacement be FOC (as it is a recognised fault) or will it be subject to a £100 excess if done under my Warranty Policy.
Bike is 2011 with FBMWSH.
Thanks.

The replacement of both switches when one fails depends on the VIN.  I had one fail on a 1600 that was on extended warranty and they are not covered by that.  Think you will find it will be free as its a known fault, seem to remember they are covered for 60 months.  Picocks won't know until  they feed the bikes details in.
