Used Oil Analysis

Has anyone had a used oil analysis done with their RT LC? I've been sending mine in and it appears the iron is slightly high. Just wondering what others are seeing. I've been changing the oil at 6,000 mile intervals and the iron is averaging 26 ppm with the universal averages showing 18. Any thoughts? I'm riding a 2015 R1200 RT.

I didn't know that was such a thing as sending in oil samples to BMW. On a voluntary basis? How many miles does your 2015 bike have then? Did the dealer recommend you sending in samples on the back of a previous random analysis during a service? ???

Me thinks life is not long enough to concern oneself with such things. Well it's not at my age anyway. Surely this wasn't done by your dealer.
