BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

Hello everyone,


My wife Steph and I are finally getting our RT--a 2014 Premium. We're picking it up next weekend and going to ride from Cali to Oregon. After riding on a GS for the past 5 years, it's time for some comfort. Keeping the GS so it's going to be nice to DS in the morning and then tour in the afternoon.

Hey Sam - I just bought a 2016 RT and live in Sherwood, OR.  There's a great group on FB you should join if you haven't already, BMWRO (BMW riders Oregon), lots of great folks on there with route tips, etc.

Thanks Tim we will check it out.

We've been racking up the miles on the RT. Love that bike. The wife is nice and comfy. Love to see her smile every mile. The RT is one amazing ride.
