pannier minor damage
does anyone know if colored part of the pannier is replaceable ??
Re: pannier minor damage
The painted top part is easily removed and replaced. However they are expense so look at a repair first.

Mine got scraped pretty well on the side as a result of a gentle drop. Body shop wanted $300-$400 to buff out the scrapes, fill, and re-paint. I ended up ordering factory color paint and clearcoat from Colorite and did the repair myself. I think I paid about $60 for all materials. It's not a perfect repair, but most folks don't notice.
It's a vulnerable area of the bike and I figured it will probably get scraped again someday. I don't want to invest a bunch of money just to end up scraping it again.
