I finally got round to giving the RT a good clean after her trip to Italy. Tried out the dirt devil cleaning foam which really did the trick. Any suggestion on removing some scuffs from the seat? Tired legs causing me to clip it with my boot a couple of times, cosmetic only.

Doc Baileys Black is the stuff you want. Waterproofs and restores leather. Use it on my saddle and leathers

Isn't the stock seat vinyl?
If so a good going over with mild detergent should do the trick
Products like armour all should not be used as they make seat slippery
I also cover bar end switches before washing, as they can be somewhat water sensitive

Yes, the stock seat is best kraut vinyl!

Missed that bit, I haven't used it on my RT as I have only had it a couple of months, but used to use it on my Harley which had a leather seat

Sorry, actual name of product is 'CarPlan Demon Snow Foam'

Some BMW alloy parts don't take kindly to aggressive cleaning products.  I would make sure that you give it a thougher rince and then do it again.  I have seen many bikes damaged by the likes of MuckOff especially round the foot peg hangers and drive shaft.
As it seems to be designed mainly for cars such items might not have been considered .

Yes, don't leave the stuff on for too long and give it a good couple of rinses, especially for the post 06 bikes, with those corrosion issues
