Hi Peeps,

Just picked up my 2010 R1200RT yesterday :) and now trying to familiarise myself with bits and bobs.

I have noticed a small white socket off the wiring loom at the top of the forks pointing out to the right hand side.
Anyone got a quick answer to what it is?
Here is a pic of it. BM Dealer says it could have been power for SAT Nav or Phone
Cheers in advance of having to do a lot of investigation

It's for your sat Nav.  And your dealer wasn't sure what is was.  Normally has a black cap on it when not being used.

Cheers for that.

Presume that it is for a BMW sat nav then.

Trying to think whether it could be used to power my non BMW sat nav with a new plug and a bit usb cable adaption. Do you know where I might find the

Any idea on the pin out for the socket to establish Live and nuetral??

Cheers again

There is an adaptor for them.  Most dealers will have them. Nippy Norman sells them as well.
