Rear Fender

Looking at the rear mudguard on my 2010 R-T it has two slots under the number plate. On my previous K series there was an adjustable  extension piece. Is this what the slots are for?

Yes.  bit along with the nut and bolt should be available at a dealer.

Yes. Is this standard with the bike, or an optional extra?

They were only ever fitted to the bike for the first couple of months of production in 2005.  They are standard on the LC.
