Got myself one of these on Ebay to lift the front wheel on my 2012 RT. Nicely made and just £27.99 inc. delivery!
It secures nicely in the holes on the bottom of the front forks, making lifting the front, a one man job.

My own version of the Front Wheel Padock Stand. Works a treat, cost next to nothing, although I did lose points for nicking the Bread Board. Plus point is it leaves the front end completely in the clear.
I have posted the details on another now defunct forum so some may have seen it before. Very easy to operate. Bike on Centre Stand, apply some weight to rear rack to raise front end slightly, slip stand under front part of Engine and hey presto. Front wheel is about an inch off the floor. Takes about 10 seconds to put in place.

Our Gee - Where does that locate? Do you take the front wheel out, and put it under the fork legs?

Another pic from above. The front part of the Engine sits on the rubber strip. I'll take a pic of the stand in situ later today.

I like the idea.
Do you have to position carefully to avoid the cooling fins, or do you just hope it'll be OK?

Re: Front wheel paddock stand
Stand shown in position. I wouldn't worry about damaging the fins. Most of the bike's weight is on the Centre Stand. As for positioning I place it as for forward as possible to make it most stable.
I use this stand when removing the Front Wheel for tyre changes etc. Solid as a rock.

Thanks for the pix Our Gee. When Mrs Sullivj is prepared to let go of the bread board, I might give it a try!

Looks a lot better than my scissor jack and brick solution. Probably a lot more stable too.

I use a Scissor Jack (less the brick), similar to this one
