Needs to be in excellent condition.

You need to say what type you are after. Pre 2014 or the new type that includes central locking etc.

Of course you can get the new type without central locking fitted

Thanks all. It's a pre 2014 case I'm looking for.

Check the K1600GTL forum for a locking top case used. There was one in blue and one in red removed from K1600GT. If you bought a new OEM case you would have to have it resprayed to match your bike anyway. The GT's can be purchased new in color of your choice.

Be careful. I thought it was only the GTL box that is colour coded and they would not be suitable for an RT.

I just purchase a RED top box from a member of the K1600GTL forum for my 2014 RT It was plug and play but I had to respray the top skin. Works great. BTW it came with the brake light and lock which I had rekeyed to my bike.
^-^

If it's got the back rest that the RT ones have its off a GT and would have originally been silver. The backrest on the GTL box is much bigger and wouldn't work on the RT unless your pillion was a small child.

I have one now, thanks to the help and advice from mac47 on here.
Mac even dropped it to the 'not so' local dealer, so they could rekey it for me on arrival. Thanks Mac.
A note to anyone looking to rekey the pre-2104 lock. If you don't have the key available, the lock position HAS to be in the LOCKED position, with the lid open. This allows you to remove the barrel and rekey it.
If the lock is in the open position, you will need to drill the lock out.
